This performance activates Yasmine Nasser Diaz’s installation For Your Eyes Only (FYEO) and was created in collaboration between Diaz and dancers, Téa Devereaux, Chryssa Hadjis, and Simrin Player.
Guided by the core themes of the installation in which they perform, the dancers' movements fluctuate between softness, intimacy, and mutual care, and moments of physical power, solidarity, and collective resistance—mirroring FYEO’s entanglement of private space and public protest. Their bodies echo feminist and transnational movements, including gestures from the Chilean collective Las Tesis’ viral protest anthem and the green bandana of Argentina’s abortion-rights movement. The result is an embodied extension of FYEO’s universe, where vulnerability and strength coexist as tools of transnational connection and political presence.
